This role is with IBM Consulting’s Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), which deliver deep technical and industry expertise to both public and private sector clients worldwide. The centers provide clients with local expertise and technical skills that drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

As an Application Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in IBM’s future by converting system requirements into the design and development of customized solutions in an agile environment. Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain documentation related to API design, development, and administration.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate effectively within agile development teams.
• Train other team members in procedural and technical topics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API Connect.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to team goals.

Requirements:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B Tech in Computer Science, MCA, MSc Computer Science)
• Preferred: Master’s Degree

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an APIC Developer or similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect, including Developer Portal, API Manager, and Developer Toolkit.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services, REST applications, and Microservices architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API Connect.
• Ability to develop and maintain documentation for API development and administration processes.

Soft Skills:

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to train others in procedural and technical topics.
• Strong team player with problem-solving skills.
